What Do Results Mean?

Your midwife will tell you how and when you will get the result of the test and will explain your test results to you.

You will usually get the result of your screening blood tests within 3 weeks.

If the result shows there is a problem or that another test is needed, your midwife or doctor will offer you another appointment.

If you have an ultrasound scan and there is a problem suspected, the person doing the scan will tell you.
